The wonderful activity filled day was to be topped off by a seafood feast at a local seaside restaurant. The restaurant was locally owned, and nothing fancy, but this was all about the food.
Plate after plate of fish and shellfish were brought out, with lots of side dishes. As the owners were Muslim, no beer was offered for sale. No problem, as Nova, our guide, had checked in advance... of course you can bring your own beer; so we arrived plastic bags in hand.
It was not quite as good as Halong Bay (hello Vietnam travelling companions!) but was excellent none the less.
Wow, what an amazing day!
